Heady Bodies at the Fundació Joan Miró

Teresa | Arts & Happenings | Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

I love Barcelona in the winter. There’s plenty going on, and fewer hoards of visitors to share it all with. “Un cos sense limits — A Body without Limits,” through January 27th at Fundació Joan Miró is where I’d head if I were there right now. The exhibition focuses on changes in the portrayal of the human body through the 20th century, with over 80 paintings and sculptures by 41 avant-garde artists: Maillol, Schiele, Matisse, Picasso, Miró, Duchamp, Chagall, Moore, Basquiat, Tàpies, and others.
